This week we witnessed an emergency summit held by the NATO defensive alliance, accompanied by the EU, followed by a meeting of the G7, some of the world’s richest nations, where they pledged to assist Ukraine with military and humanitarian assistance. In addition, they approved major increases of forces in Eastern Europe. Consequently, four new defense groups will be sent to Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Romania.

ClearBank, a UK banking rails provider, raises $230M (€208m) from Apax to expand into Europe and the US
Oxyzo Financial Services (Gurugram, India), a tech-enabled smart financing solution provider, has announced its $200 million (€181m) Series A fundraise led by Alpha Wave and others
Jeeves (Stockholm, Sweden), a finTech infrastructure platform raised $163 million (€119m) in a Series C funding round led by China’s Tencent that puts the startup’s valuation at an estimated $2.1 billion
Stilt (CA,US), a provider of loans and financial services for immigrants, has raised $114 million (€104m)in a Series A funding round
Capitolis (Israeli), a fintech company, announced it has completed a $110 million (€99m) Series D financing round, at a $1.6 billion (€1.4m) valuation
